OIL & GAS INDUSTRY
Delta’s first customer in 1972 was Hudson’s Bay Oil & Gas located in Northern Alberta. By maintaining hangar facilities in Ft. St. John, Ft. McMurray, Lac La Biche , High Level, Slave Lake, and Rainbow Lake, all located in oil country both in Alberta and BC it enables us to provide safe reliable year around service.
We move men and equipment, ambulance stand-by and evacuations, well abandonments , wireline moves, aerial seeding, surveying, and game counts. We also operate an infared FLIR 8500B ideal for pipeline and powerline inspections.
FORESTRY INDUSTRY
Since inception a half a century ago Delta has been supplying all aspects of the forest industry, with our different weight category aircraft from the Bell 206 to the Bell 212 plus the Astar B2’s and B3’s. Be it fighting fires, tree planting, aerial seeding or regeneration surveys we do it all.
For fire suppression we have a full complement of sling gear, long lines, nets, drip torches, water buckets (Bambi), scanning equipment with infrared and video capabilities (FLIR 8500B).
AMBULANCE & MEDEVAC
Delta operates a variety of helicopters capable of carrying from 4 to 14 passengers that can be used for emergency evacuation. We also operate Bell 206’s and the Astar B2’s and B3’s that are equipped with one stretcher. Because of our heated year around hangars in the event of an emergency we can be airborne in a matter of minutes.
MINING & EXPLORATION
Whatever your requirement are we have a helicopter and the experienced crews to do the job. We have helicopters that will lift from 900 lbs to 4000 lbs externally whether you are doing exploration, or production we have the aircraft that will suit your needs.
SIGHTSEEING
Need a gift for someone who is hard to buy for, we recommend a Bell 206 (four passenger) helicopter to; check out the local landscape, take pictures, enjoy a new experience, make it a time to remember.
